Fishing Report - 10/11/2015

LESLIE DAM: There were some nice fish landed at Leslie Dam over the past week.  There were plenty of legal sized Golden Perch landed on shrimps and saltwater yabbies in the main basin.  One local angler managed to land 7 quality Golden Perch on TN50 Jackalls.  There were also reports of a few smaller Murray Cod landed.  We received reports of a few nice Silver Perch and Catfish being landed on worms.

CONNOLLY DAM: We received a few reports from Connolly of anglers landing a few fish, mainly from the eastern bank on bait.  There were some great Silver Perch landed on worms.  We also received reports of a few Golden Perch being landed, but the Silvers out numbered them over the weekend.

STORM KING DAM: Storm King Dam remains consistent, with some nice fish being landed from the bank on bait.  There were also a few nice fish landed off the edges on spinnerbaits.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River experienced a good fresh during the past week, which made it a little tough for the lure anglers around Warwick.  However, there were some great fish landed on bait.  There was some quality Golden Perch landed on saltwater yabbies to the east of Warwick.  One lucky angler managed a lovely 89cm Murray Cod on a saltwater yabby.  This fish was released after a quick photo.  Anglers also had success upstream of Scots Weir and around the Wallace Street Bridge.  Anglers landed a few nice fish around the Pratten area on lures before the fresh made it there.
