FISHING REPORT - 28/7/2015

LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam continues to produce some nice fish, with several anglers reaching their bag limit over the weekend.  Anglers from Ipswich landed some quality Golden Perch off the bank in front of the Washpool Camping Reserve on worms and saltwater yabbies.  The lure anglers are seeing results while casting blades, soft Jackall Masks and Genes in the deeper water in the main basin.  We received reports of some Golden Perch and a small Murray Cod being landed up towards the back of the dam where it starts to narrow and up past the Black Boys.  Green, black and purple coloured lures are working the best.

COOLMUNDA DAM: Coolmunda Dam anglers are landing some lovely Golden Perch on both bait and lures.  The southern end of the dam seems to be the most successful area, with anglers landing fish while casting hard body lures in and around the timber.  One young Inglewood angler landed seven legal sized Golden Perch on Saturday morning on a HL Bluegill TN60 Jackall.

MOOGERAH DAM / MAROON DAM: Anglers at Moogerah landed several Bass over the weekend.  These fish were quite difficult to locate but anglers who put the effort in received results, landing some quality fish.  Plastics seemed to produce the best numbers.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River and local waterways are all fishing quite well, with several anglers landing fish over the weekend.  We received reports from anglers fishing below the Bacon Factory of a few legal sized Golden Perch being landed on shrimps on Friday afternoon.  There was also several quality Golden Perch and smaller Murray Cod landed to the east of Warwick on spinnerbaits.  The Mill Hole also produced a few Golden Perch early on Sunday morning.
