Fishing Report - 6/6/2016

LESLIE DAM: We didn’t receive too many reports of fish being landed over the weekend, mainly due to the terrible weather conditions.  Leslie Dam continued to fish well up until the weekend, with the bait anglers landing some good numbers on shrimps and crays.  Anglers also had some success on lures, with one local landing three quality Golden Perch on mask vibes near the Washpool Camping Reserve.  Blades in the deeper water also worked well, with darker colours working the best.

CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly Dam remains fairly consistent, with bait anglers having the best success.  Saltwater yabbies worked well in the latter part of the week, with some nice fish being landed.  Numbers were slightly down over the weekend, mainly due to the weather conditions.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River saw some quality fish being landed, with several reports of Murray Cod being landed on lures.  Jackall Pompadours seem to be working well, with a local angler landing three Murray Cod in the Pratten area.  We also received reports of a 80cm Murray Cod landed on a spinnerbait to the east of Warwick by a angler in his kayak.  Golden Perch were also landed upstream of Murrays on bait and in various other spots.
