Fishing Report 13/11/2017

LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam is fishing reasonably well at the moment, with some good numbers of Golden Perch being landed during the week and over the weekend.  Most Golden Perch are holding close to the bottom so sinking lures are having the most success.  Blades, mask vibes and Atomic Semi Hardz continue to land some nice fish.  Shrimps are working the best for the bait anglers in various spots around the dam.  Anglers are commenting on plenty of big Catfish being landed on bait.

MAROON DAM: Anglers at Maroon landed a few Bass on Saturday afternoon, with smaller hardy body lures working well when fished over the weed.  Plastics in the deeper water also accounted for a few nice fish.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River didn’t see too many legal sized fish landed over the past week.  Anglers fishing on the eastern side of town are seeing the best results.  Silent Jackalls accounted for a few Golden Perch in the Killarney area.  We also received some reports of fish being landed in the Mill Hole and upstream of the OO Madsen bridge.

COOLMUNDA DAM: Coolmunda is fishing well, with several legal sized Murray Cod landed during the past week.  Some of these fish measured in excess of 90cm.  Golden Perch were quite active, with some good numbers being landed mainly on ZX Blades.
