Fishing Report 27/3/2018

Leslie Dam: Leslie Dam fished well during the past week, with several reports being received.  Anglers landed plenty of fish from the bank in various locations, with plenty of Catfish being landed on shrimps.  We also received reports of Golden and Silver Perch being landed as well as good numbers of Carp being removed from the dam. Anglers fishing around the Black Boys managed to land some nice Golden Perch, particularly when using shrimps.  Trolling hard body lures and jigging blades were two methods that worked well for the lure anglers.

Maroon Dam: Anglers fishing Maroon landed a few Bass over the weekend.  Numbers weren't huge but the fish landed were solid fish.  Black TN60 Jackalls and Keitech Easy Shiners worked well along the weed.

Rivers and Creeks: The Condamine River continues to fish well, with reports of some reasonable fish being landed.  Bait anglers are seeing some good results in the town area.  Anglers fishing on the western side of town around Lyndhurst and below the Bacon Factory landed some better quality Golden Perch on shrimps and saltwater yabbies. Anglers reported on a few Murray Cod on the move.  Spinnerbaits and larger hard body lures are also working well for the lure anglers to the east and west of Warwick.

"The team at Warwick Outdoors and Sports would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Easter".
