Fishing Report 16/10/2018

LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam continues to fish well, with anglers landing some nice fish over the past week.  Murray Cod at Leslie are still quite active, with several reports coming in from anglers trying their luck.  A local angler landed a lovely 78cm Murray Cod on a trolled spinnerbait.  We received several reports of other smaller cod on the move.  Anglers chasing Golden Perch also landed some solid fish from both boats and along the bank. Blades continue to be the lures of choice at the moment.

CONNOLLY DAM: Anglers at Connolly are landing some reasonable sized Golden Perch in various spots along the bank on a variety of lures and bait.  We received a few reports of some Murray Cod on the move.  Anglers casting swimbaits early morning seem to be having the most success, landing fish around the 70cm mark.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River in the town area is definitely worth a look, with anglers landing some quality Golden Perch upstream of the Mill Hole on Mumblers.  Anglers continue to land Golden Perch in various locations close to the town area.  Anglers from Allora also reported on a few better quality Golden Perch being landed in the Dalrymple on bait and lures.
