Fishing Report 10/10/2018

LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam is fishing well at present, with anglers landing some great fish.  Murray Cod have been very active, with several anglers landing legal sized fish from both the bank and out of boats.  We received reports of three fish measuring in excess of 1 metre being landed over the weekend.  The biggest of these measured 113cm and was landed on a Bassman Spinnerbait.  Anglers continue to land plenty of Golden Perch.  Land based anglers landed some good numbers midweek while casting TN60 Jackalls in various spots.  Anglers also saw an increase on fish being landed on bait and trolled hard body lures.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River has seen an improvement, with anglers landing some solid Golden Perch midweek on lures.  Spinnerbaits have been working well on the eastern side of town.  Anglers fishing in town also landed a few better quality Golden Perch on bait.  Anglers fishing in the Pratten, Victoria Hill and Millmerran areas also reported on some good numbers of Golden Perch on the move, with both bait and lures working well.
