Fishing Report 9/5/2017

LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam continues to fish well, with most anglers reaching double figures over the weekend.  Anglers using bait landed some nice fish, with reports of plenty of smaller Golden Perch on the move. We also received reports of some nice Golden Perch being landed on lures.  Blades in the deeper water are still landing some quality fish, with some measuring in excess of 50cm in length.  There has been some nice 60 – 70cm Murray Cod landed, with the larger ones being a bit scarce.

CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly Dam remains consistent on previous weeks, with a few reports of legal sized Golden Perch being landed over the weekend.  There were also some nice Silver Perch landed in various spots from the bank.  Small crays and worms are working well for the bait anglers, with spinnerbaits and TN60 Jackalls accounting for some nice Golden Perch for the lure anglers.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River is definitely worth a try, with anglers landing some quality fish in various locations.  We have received a few reports from the Killarney, Murrays Bridge, Wheatvale and Pratten areas of some nice Golden Perch being landed on both lures and bait.  Anglers are also reporting on several smaller Murray Cod landed between Warwick and Killarney.  The Mill Hole and upstream of it were also quite successful.
