LESLIE DAM: With the beautiful weather conditions over the weekend, the fish were on the move.  Anglers managed to land some nice Golden Perch on both lures and bait.  One local anglers landed some nice fish while trolling lures.  There were also some nice fish landed up at the Black Boys on bait.  The lure anglers also managed to land some fish up past the Black Boys while casting Jackalls at the structure.

CONNOLLY DAM: Anglers at Connolly Dam landed a variety of fish over the weekend.  There were some nice Golden and Silver Perch landed on both lures and bait.  Jackalls and spinnerbaits were the most successful lures, while worms and saltwater yabbies worked well for the bait anglers.  There was also a few Catfish landed on worms.

MOOGERAH DAM / MAROON DAM: Both Moogerah and Maroon have fished quite well over the past week or so.  Anglers at Moogerah landed some nice Bass in the main basin on a variety of lures.   One angler at Maroon landed 14 nice Bass while casting OSP Hard Body lures and soft plastics into the weed pockets.

OTHER DAMS: There have also been some nice fish caught at Somerset.  Both Bass and Golden Perch have been very active.  These fish fell to blades, soft plastics and ice-jigs.

RIVER AND CREEKS: Fishing in our local river and creek systems has also picked up over the past week or so, mainly due to the weather conditions and the rainfall we had over the past few weeks.  One local angler landed a lovely 70cm Murray Cod on a surface lure in the Condamine River at Sandy Creek.  There were also a few nice fish landed in the Pratten area as well as to the east of Warwick at Murrays Bridge.
