Fishing Report 7/11/2017

LESLIE DAM: Anglers at Leslie Dam had success mainly in the latter part of the weekend, with Sunday fishing the best.  We received a few reports of some large Silver Perch being landed on Saturday afternoon on bait.  These fish were landed in the deeper water, just out from the wall.  Anglers fishing shrimps and saltwater yabbies landed some good numbers of Golden Perch between the Washpool and the concrete boat ramps.  The lure anglers picked up a few nice Golden perch while trolling hard body lures, with blades continuing the land the fish close to the bottom.

MOOGERAH DAM: Anglers fishing Moogerah reported on plenty of Golden Perch on the move.  Anglers using bait had the best success in the timbered areas.  We received a report from a local angler who landed 7 Bass on Sunday on TN60 Jackalls.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River was a little slower than previous weeks, with not too many reports in the town area.  There were a few legal sized Golden Perch landed in the Murrays Bridge area on spinnerbaits while being casted from kayaks.  Anglers fishing in the Pratten area also reported on a few smaller Golden Perch as well as some big Carp.

COOLMUNDA DAM: Anglers at Coolmunda Dam landed some quality Golden perch last Friday, with a Millmerran angler landing over 20 Golden Perch on blades and TN60 Jackalls.  Other anglers reported on some nice Golden Perch being landed in the timber on shrimps.

GLENLYON DAM: Anglers reported on some solid Murray Cod on the move, with several reports of fish up to 85cm in length.  Most of these fish are being landed on spinnerbaits.
