CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly Dam remained quiet, mainly due to the terrible weather
conditions. There was the odd fish
landed on bait in the sheltered areas of the dam.
MOOGERAH DAM / MAROON DAM: There were several Bass landed in the main basin at
Moogerah. Anglers fishing the schooled
fish had the most success while using soft plastics, tail spinners, mask vibes
and Jackalls.
RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine
River continued to fish
reasonably well, with several anglers landing some good sized Golden Perch. One local Clifton anglers managed to land four Golden
Perch on Saturday afternoon in the Pratten area on spinnerbaits. We also received reports of a few fish being
landed in various spots in the town area.
One young local angler also had success on Saturday in the Sandy Creek
area, landing some lovely Golden Perch on soft plastics and vibes. There were also some Catfish and Silver Perch
landed at Murrays
Bridge on crays.
