FISHING REPORT - 21/7/2015

LESLIE DAM: Things were slow at Leslie Dam mid week, mainly due to the bad weather conditions.  However, there was several quality Golden Perch landed over the latter part of the weekend.  Shrimps and saltwater yabbies worked the best.  Anglers had success near the Ski Club, at the Washpool, Cod Alley and opposite the Dam Wall.  The lure anglers are still experiencing the best results using blades and mask vibes, as the fish are deeper than normal.  These lures are easily fished off the bottom.  We received reports of two legal sized Murray Cod landed during the week.  Both fish were landed on spinnerbaits.

COOLMUNDA DAM: Anglers commented on several large Golden Perch being landed on various hard body lures.  One local Inglewood angler landed four Golden Perch, all measuring in excess of 45cm, on a Kezza Mudmouse.

MOOGERAH DAM / MAROON DAM: Moogerah saw a few anglers land several Bass over the weekend.  These fish were mainly caught up in the timber and in the main basin.  OSP 2.5 inch Shad Tail Plastics have been working well.  There were also several fish landed on the new Jackall Mask Vibe Gene.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River has been fish quite well, with several fish being landed over the weekend.  Anglers fishing to the east of Warwick saw the best results.  One local angler managed to land six quality Golden Perch and a few Carp on worms, just upstream of Murrays Bridge.  There were also a few Golden Perch landed in various spots in the town area.  We also received reports of three smaller Murray Cod being landed on spinnerbaits.  Kings Creek, around Clifton, is also fishing quite well, with one local Clifton angler having success on spinners, with the red blades working the best.  There were also a couple of Golden Perch landed on saltwater yabbies.
