CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly Dam anglers’ remains fairly consistent, with anglers landing
some quality Golden Perch on saltwater yabbies and Silver Perch on worms. Anglers fishing in the deeper water towards
the wall end continue to land some nice fish on lures.
RIVERS AND CREEKS: Anglers experienced an improvement in the Condamine River . Duckweed in places has made it a little
difficult to fish, but for those who remain patient have experienced
success. Both lures and bait accounted
for some nice Golden Perch both upstream and downstream of the Scots Weir and
to the east of Killarney. We also
received reports of a few Golden Perch landed in the Murray Bridge
area.
MAROON DAM: Anglers
have reported on plenty of smaller Bass being landed during the past week. Most of these fish were landed in or close to
the weed pockets. Soft plastics and
suspending hard body lures are working well at the moment. The bait anglers are also landing some
quality Bass and Golden Perch on shrimps.
