CONNOLLY DAM: Bait anglers at Connolly Dam landed a few better Golden Perch mid week,
with reports of Golden Perch measuring up to 52cm in length. Small crays, shrimps and saltwater yabbies
all landed fish. Anglers also reported
on landing some legal sized Silver Perch and the odd Catfish on worms. Anglers casting spinnerbaits and smaller hard
body lures also landed some nice Golden Perch as well as some smaller Cod later
in the afternoons.
RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine
River has slowed a little
in the town area. Anglers have reported
on some nice Golden Perch being landed on the eastern side of town. There were a few Golden Perch landed
downstream of Killarney, around Murray ’s Bridge,
Cullendore and near the Rockies . These fish were landed on bait.
COOLMUNDA DAM: Anglers at
Coolmunda have landed some solid Golden Perch over the past week on lures and
bait. Anglers trolling hard body lures
landed a few Murray Cod. Anglers casting
vibes and blades also managed to land some big Golden Perch as well as a few
better Murray Cod measuring around the 70cm mark.
