RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine
River has improved on
previous weeks, with some quality fish being landed. We received reports of some nice fish being
landed in the Killarney and Murrays
Bridge areas. There were also reports of a few Murray Cod
on the move. Don’t forget it is still
closed season for Murray Cod and they are to be released unharmed. Anglers fishing in the Victoria Hill area
also managed some legal sized Golden Perch on hard body lures.
COOLMUNDA DAM: Anglers at Coolmunda continue to land some reasonable sized Golden Perch
on both lures and bait. Blades and mask
vibes are working well for the lures anglers.
We received a report from a Millmerran angler of some nice fish being
landed on Sunday afternoon. He managed
to land 6 legal sized Golden Perch and 4 smaller Murray Cod on lures.
