RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine
River is fishing well in
some spots, however the weed in the town area is quite thick in places causing
things to be a little slow. We received
reports of some nice Golden Perch being landed on smaller hard body lures in
and around Killarney, as well as in the Murray Bridge
area. Anglers fishing in the Wheatvale
and Pratten areas also reported on the odd fish being landed. We had reports of a few more smaller Murray
Cod on the move. This is mainly due to
the cooler mornings.
MAROON DAM:
Anglers at Maroon Dam are landing some solid Bass with good numbers being
landed on lures. Jackall Squirrells seem
to be working the best for the lure anglers fishing the weed edges.
