Fishing Report 22/5/2018

LESLIE DAM: Anglers at Leslie Dam landed some nice Golden Perch over the past week, with a few more being landed on lures.  Anglers fishing mid morning landed some quality fish on blades.  Dark colours seem to be working the best at present.  Anglers trolling hard body lures in the more narrow part of the dam are picking up a few Golden Perch as well as the odd small Murray Cod.  Anglers fishing along the bank reported on some smaller Golden Perch and a few legal sized Silver Perch being landed.  Catfish numbers are down on previous weeks.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River is fishing well in some spots, however the weed in the town area is quite thick in places causing things to be a little slow.  We received reports of some nice Golden Perch being landed on smaller hard body lures in and around Killarney, as well as in the Murray Bridge area.  Anglers fishing in the Wheatvale and Pratten areas also reported on the odd fish being landed.  We had reports of a few more smaller Murray Cod on the move.  This is mainly due to the cooler mornings.

MAROON DAM: Anglers at Maroon Dam are landing some solid Bass with good numbers being landed on lures.  Jackall Squirrells seem to be working the best for the lure anglers fishing the weed edges.
