Fishing Report 20/11/2018

LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam continues to fish reasonably well, with anglers reporting on legal sized Golden Perch being landed along the bank as well as from boats.  Blades continue to work the best in the deeper water.  Anglers trolling hard body lures along the creek line and in the narrow parts of the Dam landed a few legal sized fish.  We have also received reports of some Murray Cod on the move, with several fish being landed during the week.  These fish ranged from 50cm to 80cm in length.

CONNOLLY DAM: Anglers at Connolly Dam have reported on some nice Golden Perch on the move over the weekend.  Several anglers landed some quality fish, with kayak anglers landing some lovely Golden and Silver Perch on a variety of lures.  Anglers also reported on a few smaller Murray Cod on the move.  Worms and saltwater yabbies also landed a few nice fish.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River has fished quite well over the past week, with anglers reporting of some nice Golden Perch on the move on the western side of town.  Spinnerbaits and smaller hard body lures accounted for the majority of these fish.  The town area is also worth a look, with local anglers landing a few nice fish.
