Fishing Report 3/12/2018

LESLIE DAM: Anglers at Leslie Dam found it hard over the weekend, mainly due to the windy weather conditions.  Anglers fishing in the earlier part of the week landed some reasonable fish.  We received reports of some nice Murray Cod being landed, some measuring up to 90cm in length.  These fish were caught on trolled hard body lures in the main basin.  Shrimps, worms and saltwater yabbies all accounted for legal sized Golden Perch.  Anglers continue to land Golden Perch while casting blades and mask vibes in the deeper water.

CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly is fishing well at the moment, with kayak anglers landing some nice fish early on Saturday morning.  We received several reports of legal sized Golden Perch being landed on a variety of lures.  Anglers also managed to land some smaller Murray Cod while trolling hardy body lures and spinnerbaits.

CONDAMINE RIVER: The Condamine River is definitely worth a try as we received several reports of fish being landed in the town area.  Anglers are having success on both bait and lures, with most fish being landed just on dark.
