CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly Dam saw a few nice fish landed over the past week. There were some nice Golden and Silver perch
landed, as well as a few Catfish. The
majority of these fish were landed on bait, with saltwater yabbies proving to
be the most successful.
MOOGERAH / MAROON DAM: The Bass at Moogerah have been a little tight lipped,
with most of the fish being landed in or just off the timber towards the back
of the dam. There has been a lot of boat
traffic which made fishing in the timber more pleasurable. Spinnerbaits, blades and mask vibes all
caught fish, with shrimps also accounting for a few fish.
RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine
River continues to fish
well, with reports of fish being landed in various locations. One local angler caught and released a 15
pound Murray Cod on a purple and black Jaz Spinnerbait. There were several quality Golden Perch landed
on both lures and bait. One angler had
good success in the Mill Hole early on Saturday morning. He managed to land 4 legal sized Golden Perch
on a small hard body lure. There were
reports of fish being landed at Murrays
Bridge , Pratten and in
the Killarney area. We also received
several reports of quality fish being landed in the Stanthorpe and Ballandean
areas.
A spawning season closure

water contained in the Murray Darling Drainage Division from 1 September to 30
