CONNOLLY DAM: Anglers at Connolly Dam are seeing the best results in the afternoon,
with some solid Golden Perch being landed on hard body lures. Purple seems to be the most successful colour
at present. Shrimps, worms and saltwater
yabbies all worked well for the bait anglers.
RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine
River is fishing well,
with several reports of Golden Perch being landed in and around the town
area. Lure anglers had more success this
week than in previous weeks. We received
several reports of Murray Cod being landed by anglers targeting Golden
Perch. Please remember that it is closed
season for Murray Cod (opening again 1 December). The Dalrymple Creek to the east and west of Allora
area has been fishing quite well, with anglers landing some quality Golden Perch
on lures.
MOOGERAH DAM: Anglers at Moogerah are reporting on a few Bass on the move. Anglers trolling along the northern bank and
through the timber are landing some nice fish.
