Fishing Report 28/11/2016

LESLIE DAM: Leslie Dam continues to fish well with several anglers reporting on good numbers on both lures and bait.  Frozen shrimps are working in the main basin, with a local family landing over 30 Golden Perch in an afternoon session.  Anglers are reporting on several Murray Cod on the move with some quality fish being landed.  One local angler landed a lovely 85cm Murray Cod on Sunday morning on blade in the main basin.  We also received reports of several Cod being landed on trolled hard body lures, some measuring up to 75cm in length.

CONNOLLY DAM: Anglers at Connolly Dam landed a few legal sized Golden Perch over the weekend.  However numbers were down a little on previous weeks.  Anglers fishing with worms landed a few quality Silver Perch.  The lure anglers are reporting on a few smaller Murray Cod on the move up towards the wall end of the dam.  TN60 Jackalls are working the best when fished in the deeper water.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: The Condamine River remains consistent, with some solid Golden Perch being landed in the town area.  We received a few reports of fish being landed near Scots Weir, the Mill Hole and upstream of the Wallace Street Bridge from anglers fishing from their kayaks.  Killarney anglers are also reporting on some Golden Perch on the move.  Anglers in the Pratten and Wheatvale area also had success on bait, with a Clifton angler landing 3 legal sized Golden Perch on Sunday afternoon on worms in Kings Creek.
