Fishing Report 10/9/2018

LESLIE DAM: Anglers at Leslie Dam have reported on some better numbers over the past week.  We received several reports of legal sized Murray Cod landed.  Anglers trolling spinnerbaits and hard body lures had the most success on Murray Cod.  The larger Golden Perch have been a little quiet.  Anglers have managed to land some smaller ones, from both boats and from the bank.  Anglers trolling hard body lures also landed some nice fish.

CONNOLLY DAM: Anglers have seen an improvement at Connolly, with reports of a few nice Golden and Silver Perch being landed on bait.  Anglers fishing with lures also had some success, with a legal sized Murray Cod being landed on a Jackall Gigantarel.  Anglers also reported on some Golden Perch being landed on TN60 Jackalls and Spinnerbaits.

RIVERS AND CREEKS: Anglers fishing the Condamine River landed some quality Golden Perch over the weekend, with several reports of solid fish measuring over 45cm.  Spinnerbaits proved to be very successful for the lure anglers fishing on the western side of Warwick.  Anglers fishing to the east had success on worms, with a local angler landing 3 legal sized Golden Perch at Murrays Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
