CONNOLLY DAM: Connolly Dam saw a few fish being landed over the weekend and early
into this week, with the afternoon sessions being the most successful time to
fish. Shrimps and worms landed some nice
Golden and Silver Perch when being fished from the bank. We received a report from a local angler who
caught and released a 64cm Murray
Cod early on Saturday morning on a Westin Swim.
RIVERS AND CREEKS: Things were a little quiet for anglers fishing in the Condamine River . Those fishing upstream of the Killarney
township landed the odd Golden Perch on crays and worms. We also received a report from kayak angler
having success in the Murray
Bridge area on
spinnerbaits. Anglers fishing around the
Mill Hole also landed some smaller Golden Perch on bait.
MOOGERAH DAM: Moogerah was also a little quiet over the weekend, with local anglers
only reporting on a handful of Bass being landed in the main basin and just off
the timber in the bottom end of the dam.
Soft plastics are working the best for the lure anglers.
